            Somewhere along the way, someone decided going to college and having horses are incompatible.  With new technology, horse-oriented colleges, and bit of tenacity, the college experience can include your horse.  Lots of colleges and universities offer online courses.  Consider this option, if taking your horses to college is not an possibility.  Study from any locale with a laptop and an internet connection.  Or if you’re heavily devoted, check out colleges that offer horse programs.  You could major in a horse related subject.  For a bit of case study, go ahead and check out yesterday’s post—In the News June 22-28.    It includes two links to students making the news, who’ve embraced college and are still active in the horse world.
