103 Words about the Democrat Convention
I apologize for not getting the Bound by Paper and Frisky Films post to you as promised. I’ve been held up with work and home life the last week. With the presidential race so tight and important, I’ve been detained watching the Democrat Convention as well. Today, I’m leaping off topic. I feel justified because of the importance of the economy to horses and their owners.
In the last two day, the convention has hosted several great speakers. Of the ones I’ve gotten to watch I felt Hilary Clinton impacted everyone the most. The not-so-vanquished foe spoke clearly and gave her supporters reason to step to her opponent’s side. Her solid orange suit, against the blue back drop, certainly made her stand out. Her speech made her seem like she should be the candidate for president rather then runner up. The speech was an excellent way to end her campaign, setting her up for the next race or if Obama wins for 2016. Overall, she ran an excellent race.
