Name That Breed

Published by amylynn615 at 8:34 am under horses Edit This

Today’s Name that Breed of horse originated from Austria.  The actual history of this breed isn’t as clear as one would like.  It is said that this breed is the result of breeding one prince’s stallion with native mares of the region.  It is typically no higher than 14 hands.  This breed is also sturdy and often used in forestry work.  All horses of this breed can trace their lineage back to one Arabian stallion.  He passed on his refined head to all of his descendents.   All right, Horses for Lifers, Name the Breed of horse that is all the above.  I’ll have the answer in my post tomorrow.
