            Perhaps short of a pony or horse on the Christmas List, saddles are the next expensive.  Either Western or English saddles can cost from a couple hundred up to several thousand depending on brand, accessories, and quality.   In this case asking the horse lover on your list which one he or she is interested in may be a great idea.  It is something that he or she will have specific wants or needs.  It has to fit the horse and the rider.

            On a historial note, the United States of America elected its first black president Barack Obama yesterday.  Go America!!
