Frisky Films—Touching Wild Horses
The soothing balm of horses radiates from the screen while watching Touching Wilding Horses. This film stars Jane Seymour, Charles Martin Smith, Glora Slade, and James Mcgowen. In 2004, the film released on DVD with a PG rating.
That feeling of calm is especially needed in the film, as the orphaned nephew of Jane Seymour’s character comes to stay on a protected island filled with wild ponies. Both nephew and aunt have lost someone. Together, they find something more important then the past. There is one rule they must not break: Do not touch the wild horses. Rules are meant to be broken.
Children’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars. There is brief graphic content in a dream. Combine that with the strong emotional themes, this may go over a child’s head. It received a 3.5 because it is relatable to children as the main character is young and deals with the loss of a loved one.
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. This movie is one for the entire family despite the negativity expressed in the Children’s rating. It has strong emotional theme of loss, which everyone can relate.
