                                        “Knowledge is power” by Sir Francais Bacon

         That phase, a metaphor, says everything one needs to say about the role knowledge plays in the existence of mankind.  Without knowledge, we would be apes.  We wouldn’t have computers, World Wide Web, cars, farms or politics.  Okay, so we could do without the last one.  The root word of knowledge is to know.  The capacity to do something lies in understanding.

         How does this pertain to the horses we all know and love?   Research, experiment, find out what works for you.  Read, theorize, and implement successful strategies.  Do everything you can to understand what makes your horse ticks.
